My name is Jordan Buckwald. I am a law student at Arizona State University. I am working on a research project for a professor, in which we are gathering data on election expenditures by every city in California. We are trying to collect data for the fiscal years ending in 2011 through 2017.

On the Santa Maria City website, I was able to find audits for those fiscal years. However, I was unable to find specific figures showing the actual expenditures on elections.

 Would you be able to pass along the expenditures for the elections department for those years, or at least direct me to where I can look in the annual budget (e.g. is it listed under 'city clerk' expenditures)? If there is someone else I should speak to with this request, please let me know.
